The ULTIMATE Gen I Supercharged Dodge Viper!

Heck, this could be the ultimate Viper of ANY generation!  This is an absolutely incredible 1995 Dodge Viper RT/10.  It started out life as an ordinary emerald green RT/10 back in 1995.  Since then, it has gone through a transformation that is truly remarkable.  No money was spared and no shortcuts taken on this one, you are looking at a 900 horsepower Doug Levin Motorsports Level III+ supercharged monster!  Did they stop with the engine?  Heck no!  This beauty then underwent numerous cosmetic upgrades such as a full gold stripe package, custom interior, race-style hardtop, new 18” Viper wheels, and so much more.   Click on any of the smaller pictures to open larger photos of this awesome Viper and be sure to keep reading for a detailed description of this baby.  You will find out exactly what goes into a $100,000 sports car (that you can buy for a lot less if you hurry).

As you can see from the pictures above, this is one incredible car.  While you may think it is the Gen II hood, it is not: This is the original Gen I hood that was factory fitted to this car, only now it has both the NACA duct and vents installed for increased cooling.  You have the “double-bubble” top with scoop from V-Mania, as well as the tinted slider side windows.  That awesome double wing is from the craftspeople at Autoform.  The wheels and tires are take-offs from a local 2001 GTS and have a total of 1500 miles on them (not a single flaw that I could find either).  And the American Flag decals are made of vinyl (removable) and have been displayed proudly on this All-American beauty.  Ah, but this beauty is not just skin deep – let’s take a look at the interior:

Of course the first thing you want to check out are the miles, and who could blame you?  You will then see that this gorgeous car has less than 44,000 total miles on the clock – not even 5,000 miles a year!   You can also inspect the original cigarette lighter and ashtray – absolute virgins in this non-smoker car!  Note the gold trim ring on the speedometer – a theme that carries through to all the gauges and even to gold climate control knobs on the dash.  And what a dash!  No “fuzzy” dash on this car, it is a beautifully painted dash in the same emerald green of the exterior, complete with “eyelash” shades over the speedometer and tachometer.  The seats, carpeting, lower door panels, and lower dash are all finished off in tan.  A chrome Halotron fire extinguisher fits perfectly with this street-legal racecar.  Racecar?  Take a look below and you will see what I mean.

THIS, my friend, is what many think of as the Holy Grail of Viper engine setups: The Doug Levin Motorsports (DLM) Level III+ intercooled supercharged V-10.   What is included with the standard Level III package?  Here you go:

·       Custom DLM Level III heads with S/S oversized valves, O-ringed chambers, heavy duty springs, etc.

·       T&D roller rockers and hardened push rods

·       Billet throttle bodies

·       Polished Novi 2000 Race Blower

·       Complete polished tubing and hardware

·       Race fuel system with race fuel pump

·       Larger injectors with DLM Race Calibrated Computer

·       Race pulleys with heavy duty tensioner

·       Higher CFM bypass

·       180 thermostat and gaskets

·       Colder heat range spark plugs

·       New hydraulic lifters

·       Performance ignition wires

·       Port matched blower tubing

·       Higher temp silicon hoses with stronger PSI rating

·       Stronger blower assembly brackets and supports

·       Custom fit front fascia for larger intercooler (vented below as well)

Where does the “+” come from?  This installation also included an upgraded Spearco intercooler for another $2500.  I believe that this was the FIRST fully intercooled supercharged Gen I Viper ever built, and certainly the first to go through Doug Levin’s shop.  Cost to build the engine set up on this very car?  Over $45,000!!  And what did this yield on the dyno?  In May of 2004 she put down 797.7 rear wheel horsepower – or approximately 912 horsepower at the crank!!  Rear wheel torque was an astounding 796.3 foot-pounds.  And guess what?  IT HAS MORE IN IT.  They ran the air/fuel ratios during that dyno run and determined that they should be able to get another 20 RWHP using bigger injectors.  Doug Levin himself is coming to Kansas on July 10th to install them personally.  Might be a great time for you to buy and take delivery of this awesome machine!  But wait, we are far from done with this jewel:

We talked about the wheels and tires – as you can see they have excellent tread, including the back tires where you would think they would be roasted.  They are anything but.  The car also has side splitters and a rear diffuser from PartsRack.  The car has Belanger headers and exhaust, including the polished tip through the factory side pipe openings.  Now this amazing machine was designed to run on premium unleaded from your local gas station.  900 horsepower on pump gas!!  No aftermarket fuel cell in the back either.  That is accomplished in part by keeping everything cool.  Start right up front and you will see the custom front fascia and the lower venting which draws the coldest air up through the intercooler.  Also included are an upgraded 5-core aluminum radiator and upgraded Gen II electric fan.  This allows more boost.  And you can see it right before your very eyes:

Of course we STILL aren’t done yet.  We have a B&M shift kit topped off with the famous First Strike racing shift knob from MGW.  Both the transmission and rear end assembly are complete upgraded units from a 1998 Viper.  Of course when you put that kind of power down you want to make sure nothing will break, so the first thing changed were the half shafts – now Unitrax, of course.  Want to stop the car as fast as you started?  With Stoptech Cadium rotors (slotted in front, drilled in back) and EBC red brake pads, you are well on your way.  Inside you have the factory cassette radio and speakers.  But who will be listening to that when you have a symphony under the hood?

Now we mentioned the dual rear wing set up from Autoform.  You can also see how it attaches very cleanly to the car.  The trunk is still supported with the single support rod.  Shown is the original jack in the trunk.  Carpeting and original spare tire/wheel are also included.  You can also get a good gander of that rear diffuser and a very clean and unmolested lower body pan.  Best of all, take a close look at that rear wheel well: No chips or embedded rubber from horsepower abuse – this car has been largely untapped!  Yet so much of the original car is there to admire:

Besides the original Team Viper decal in the glove box (with the original owner’s manual, etc.), you even have one of the original ASC inspection stickers (lime green) on the doorjambs.  So is the car flawless?  Pretty darn close!  I have personally inspected and driven this car and all I could find for “problems” were a mildly dirty/dinged under hood pad (typical for most Vipers); a slight run on the paint of one stripe on the lower wing; and the smallest of scratches by the driver’s side “speaker” grill.  Everything else that I could find was practically perfect on this incredible car.  This car has had over $100,000 invested in it and is being offered for the very low price of just $67,775.00.  You cannot duplicate this car for that price!!  Please e-mail the owner for more information.  This beauty has a clear title and is ready to go, so make sure you get this view of your new car when you buy it!

One final note: This beautiful machine is very, very powerful and very, very fast.  VERY, VERY fast!!  This is not for the faint of heart nor for somebody just learning to drive a stick.  I would caution that this is not the car for you if you are used to driving the minivan or SUV everywhere.  This car requires your full attention even at ¾ throttle.  Open her up and you better be VERY prepared!
